Training Program Content

Instruction will be provided on the Naskh script, a form of the Art of Calligraphy within Turkish-Islamic arts.

Who Can Participate in This Training Program?

All interested students may apply, particularly those with an aptitude for Turkish-Islamic arts, calligraphy, and the art of beautiful writing.

What Will You Gain?

Gain knowledge of the history of Turkish calligraphy
Recognize various calligraphy script styles
Identify calligraphy materials and learn how to use them
Learn terminology related to calligraphy
Write in accordance with the rules of the "Naskh Script," a style of calligraphy
Become proficient enough to easily read and write manuscripts composed in the Naskh script
